The Continental Environmental Consulting Group of Kansas City offers limited scholarships and tuition assistance to help eligible individuals access professional environmental, EHS and workplace safety education.
Environmental compliance and workplace safety are specialized fields, and gaining the knowledge needed to enter or advance in them can become expensive quickly.
Continental created the Training Access Program to help reduce that barrier for people who are serious about developing their skills but may not have an employer paying their tuition.
Awards are limited and depend upon available scholarship funding, course availability and applicant circumstances.
Career changers, students, entry-level professionals, displaced workers and people trying to move into environmental or EHS work are welcome to apply.
Assistance may vary based on available funding. Applicants do not need to determine which award category they qualify for before applying.
May cover up to 100% of tuition for one approved Continental training course when sufficient scholarship funding is available.
Provides a partial tuition award when an applicant can contribute toward the cost of training but needs additional assistance.
Designed for individuals entering environmental, EHS or safety work, returning to the workforce, changing careers or developing skills for a new professional opportunity.
Training assistance may be available for individuals affected by layoffs, job displacement, reduced employment or significant employment transitions.
Limited assistance may be available when a very small employer needs safety or environmental training for employees but has limited training resources.
Businesses, organizations and community partners may sponsor training seats that Continental can award to eligible applicants.
We intentionally keep the application accessible. Financial need matters, but it is not the only circumstance we consider.
We do not require applicants to write a dramatic hardship story. Tell us plainly what you need and why the training would help.
We want applicants spending their energy learning — not completing a twenty-page scholarship application.
Review the Continental Training Academy catalog and identify the course that best supports your goal.
Complete the short scholarship application and explain what training you are seeking and why assistance is needed.
Continental reviews the request based on need, course fit and available scholarship funding.
Approved applicants receive information explaining the award and instructions for enrolling in the approved course.
Complete the form below. Please provide enough information for us to understand how the requested training fits your goals.
Scholarship applications are reviewed for the purpose of determining eligibility for Continental training assistance. Applicants are not required to disclose protected personal characteristics as part of the initial application.
Awards are based on program criteria, course availability and available scholarship resources. Applying does not guarantee an award, and scholarship funding may not be available for every course or application period.
Information submitted through the application is intended for scholarship review and program administration and should not include unnecessary sensitive financial or identity information.
